Review - Working!! a.k.a. Wagnaria!! (Season 1, 2 & 3 + Final Episode)

So since Working!! Season 3 ended last year, I've decided to watch through all three seasons,
It would have been pointless to do a review on each individually in separate posts so here is my review for all three seasons .

So as I write this review as per usual, I will assume you at least know the basis of this anime (via synopsis at least). If you haven't head over to the myanimelist page here.

(Story 8/10)

The first few episodes of Season 1 made working seem like a very lite anime that was enjoyable to watch. And it was meant to be, Each episode was another adventure for our characters at the family restaurant they were working at. Though each episode feels like two and in my personal opinion that's how a day2day anime should be done, It should be full of events not too much that wouldn't make sense but with only 13 episodes in a season make them count, You won't notice that in a way two events happen in an episode as there is no actual division from the first and second part. 

But of coarse though this may seem like a lite funny enjoyable day2day anime, it progresses, We learn more and more about our wacky cast of characters. There are episodes that will make you laugh while other episodes toy with the viewers emotions. Truly an enjoyable 40 episodes (39x 24min episodes and 1x 1 hour special). 

Art (8/10) 

For an anime starting in 2010 and finishing 2015 there are bound to be changes in animation style between the three seasons and there are some changes. The first season has a minor detailed background while providing good animation,

 The second season uses alot more 3D backgrounds (less flat, 3D perspective not actual 3D) with while providing slightly improved animation from the first season, There are some scenes where the camera is placed further away from the characters while rendering the characters with minimal detailing. It would seem like they either had some amateur trainees to do a couple seconds here and there in each of the episodes. 

The third season goes back to the first season style of backgrounds though are better detailed (higher quality if you will). The animation style is similar to the first season but in a way more updated or refined. 

Sound (10/10)

The voices fit their characters well, (Japanese Dub). The sound effects are up to par. 

Character (8/10)

In my personal opinion the characters have been developed well, The main characters are developed well and the sub characters are hard to distinguishes from the mains. The characters have sides and the viewer is able to understand the reasoning behind the characters actions. Though some parts here and there may be frustrating, It was planned to be. 

Enjoyment (10/10)

I personally really enjoyed this anime, It was fun to watch, 

Finished watching each season in two days while taking a day or so break in between them,

You will enjoy each episode to the point where you forget which event happen in which episode. 

I recommend this anime to anyone looking for something lite, Looking for a some laughs and twisty enjoyable story-lines.

Dagashi Kashi - Quick Review

A little quick review, So the first episode of Dagashi Kashi has been released.
A little comedy anime about a candy shop in a rural town,

I don't usually watch anime while it is ongoing but why not try it with this,


So Dagashi Kashi, An anime chock-full of snacks and sweets which all exist in real life, An anime that pays itself, The manga seems very popular and its anime rendition is sure to be a hit.

Review : Charlotte ( Season 1 )

Story (10/10)
Compared to the first 6 episodes of this anime when I said this was a "day2day" type anime, Oh how the second half of the season proved me wrong, The story really picks up after the 6th episode and really hits to home, There are moments where the viewer can really connect to the protagonist. And then out of nowhere this and that happens, I gave Charlotte a ten out of ten for story for - (in my personal opinion) Great Development, Good use of Twist and Great Story-telling.
Kept me really really interested to keep watching, The story closes very well with this season so for those unwilling to commit much time into anime this is an anime to watch complete and it won't keep you up at night wondering what would happen next.

Art (8/10)
If you were to read my previous reviews done in this format the score of 9 or 10 is reserved for anime's with unique art styles that "work". Charlotte has gone for a very standard Art style. Of coarse this does not give or take away from the anime's enjoy-ability. The "Standard Style" as I would call it,

Sound (10/10)
The Voice acting have been done well  (Japanese Dub), Sound effects are also up to par.

Character (8/10)
In my personal opinion, The characters have been developed very well, As you watch the anime the characters develop in a way that is easy to relate to, Like a real person the two main protagonists in this anime have many sides to them. There are other protagonists in this series labelled as main sadly they are less developed, Explains the score.

Enjoyment (10/10)
In my personal experience watching this anime I personally feel like I found a masterpiece, Though others may not feel the same way. and with me rating it so high you may not feel the same way, But to me this is a great anime that is worth watching, The story wraps up like a neat book that has a beginning and end, And to me from the anime's that I have watched it rarely ends that way. There is always something left unanswered but not with Charlotte.


I highly recommend this as a must watch to anyone looking for a good story with some feels.
